Gamefix #2: Crisis: 2000

Gamefix #3: Chicken of the Sea

Gamefix #4: Bombs Away
------------------------
"A fairly abstract, small and fast playing card-based game on the strategic bombing of Germany. A rather clever game, with some tough decision making for both sides. A nice light game to pull out now and then. I like it." EN

Gamefix #5: Winceby

Gamefix #6: Redline: Korea
------------------------
"This game covers an invasion of South Korea by the North Koreans around the year 2000. Units are Divisions and Brigades. The map area is small (scale of 33 km's per hex) and the front line is about 9 hexes and with the stacking rules you get a fairly solid front with units directly behind the front line. This gives the game a cramped feeling. In play it has a WWI feel to it as there is virtually no movement, the South set up on one side of the DMZ hex sides and the North sets up adjacent to them on the other side. Then its pretty much a slog feast from the opening turn. There are some interesting rules and the game plays pretty well. The rules are fairly good but there is some errata. There are a bunch of options (optional rules/conditions). We played without them. Seems really hard for the North Koreans, and there is a chance the South will actually make more inroads into North Korea than vice versa. Rating C" CH

Gamefix #7: The Big One

Gamefix #8: Greenline Chechnya
------------------------
“Map and counter graphics okay, rule book takes a bit to understand but not 'broken' you do need the errata which isn't a great deal, but rather important . Interesting situation and not an intriguing game system. lot of tough decisions for the Russian player, much easier for the Rebel player. The random events seem to be able to slew the game results but this is more to give a feel for this kind of war than to provide an evenly balanced game, and I don't think the game is balanced, but I do find it interesting. Rating C+” CH
